Does FloorFigures upload my floor plans?

No. Plans are opened and measured inside your browser and saved in your browser's own storage on your device. They are never sent to a FloorFigures server.

Where are my projects saved?

In your browser's storage (IndexedDB) on the device you used. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them, and they don't sync to other devices.

Do I need an account?

Only to buy lifetime access. The account is just your email address: we email you a one-time sign-in code, so there's no password to hold, and your purchase is tied to that address. Trying the sample plans and sketching need no account.

Polar runs the checkout. FloorFigures never sees your card details; we receive the order's status, amount and date.

Can I use FloorFigures for confidential client plans?

Yes. Because the plan never leaves your device, client documents stay under your control, the same as opening them in a desktop program.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in the app:

The plans you open: PDFs, images and photos.
Your projects, sheets, levels, rooms and measurements.
Your settings, price lists and report details such as your logo.

They're kept in your browser's built-in storage (IndexedDB) for this site. They don't leave the device, and they don't sync to your other devices. If you clear this site's data in your browser, they're deleted.

Accounts and payment

You don't need an account to try FloorFigures on the sample plans or to sketch. To open your own plans, you buy lifetime access, which belongs to an account so it works in any browser you sign in on. These services handle that for us:

Supabase stores your account (your email address) and a record of your purchase.
Resend delivers the emails with your sign-in codes.
Polar runs checkout and takes payment. It holds your payment details and tells us when an order is paid or refunded.

None of them receive your plans, projects or measurements; those never leave your device.

Exports and sharing

Reports and files you export (PDF, CSV, JSON, SVG, PNG, DXF) are generated in your browser and saved wherever you choose. Who you share them with is up to you.

Changes

If we ever add features that send data off your device, such as optional cloud sync, they'll be opt-in, and this page will say exactly what's sent before you turn them on.
